Dog ownership has been increasing significantly over the last few years. These pooches have also become a family. It is therefore not surprising many owners want their dogs to look and feel best at all times. To do that, they take them to the dog hotel.

In Dog Hotel Lite, your job is twofold: take care of the dogs and make their owners happy. In return, you will receive virtual money. You can then use it to buy items or choose your preferred breed.

The gameplay may sound complicated, but the truth is it’s not. There are two periods in the game, which are daytime and nighttime. You do all the activities during the daytime. First, the owners drop by their pets. They will tell you what the special needs of the pet. It’s then your responsibility to meet these needs.

These can include feeding, bathing, clicker training, or obstacle course training. You will know your progress by clicking on the virtual pet folders. These contain the profiles of the dogs. Once you’ve accomplished your mission, you can then return these dogs to the owners by clicking the night button. You also need to press night once the dog runs out of energy. After all, sleeping also helps them recharge.

The game actually has some mini-games in it. A good example is the obstacle course. You have to follow directions on the screen to control the movements of the pooch. You can also play track the scent or the clicker training, which trains your dog to follow commands. For this one, you just have to recreate the image on the screen.

In all these, the game only depends on the movement of your fingers. The good news it is responsive to touch. The minor downside is it doesn’t happen at all times, especially if you’re playing the obstacle course.

There are also some nice challenges in the gameplay. A dog, for example, may have more than one need. In certain cases, you will have to deal with more than one pooch at the same time. In the process, it compels you to manage your time and money wisely. If there’s something positive, there is no time limit here. However, you may have to work on a dog for a couple of “days.” Each day reset may change the dog’s needs.

One of the best things about the game is its graphics. It’s just so beautiful. The dogs don’t look robotic or poorly designed. The colors pop out of the screen. The pooches also show different emotions. It’s the closest thing to interacting with a pet.

Dog Hotel Lite is a fun game for both lovers and non-lovers of pets. It teaches time management and gives some excellent insight on how to take care of dogs. It comes with helpful tutorials to guide you throughout the process.
